Ikea's trio of new smart sensors cost a little but can do a lot

Ikea is once again proving that smart home accessories don't have to be expensive.

Ikea has announced three new smart sensors that are affordable and offer different features, including a door/window sensor, a motion sensor, and a water sensor.
These sensors are built on the Zigbee standard and will likely support Matter in the future, but currently require the Dirigera hub for full functionality.
The sensors are designed to notify users when certain actions are detected, such as opening/closing, movement, or moisture, and can potentially save on repair costs by detecting leaks early. However, specific pricing and availability outside Europe is still unknown.
