Google's takeover of Fitbit means that it's got one heck of an integrated fitness platform for its devices moving forward - including its first real smartwatch, the Pixel Watch.

The Black Friday sales bring with them lots of anticipation - especially in the buoyant smartwatch market, where plenty of people are keen to buy a watch to integrate with their phone, support their fitness goals or just to look good.

The Play Store listing for Fitbit's Android app has been updated, and - as well as showing a redesign of the phone app - shows what the Fitbit app for Wear OS will look like on your wrist when you load it on to a smartwatch running Google's platform.
